CITRUS HEIGHTS, Calif. -- Citrus Heights is cracking down on motorists who run red lights.The city has installed cameras designed to catch offenders in the act at the intersections of Greenback Lane and San Juan Avenue as well as Greenback Lane and Fountain Square Drive.Over the next month, drivers of cars spotted going through a red light will receive a warning notice in the mail.After a month, tickets will be sent out.Several other local cities also use the same technology to catch scofflaws.Sacramento has 10 such cameras, Stockton has several, Davis has four and Fairfield has one.
