SOLANO COUNTY, Calif. -- Cranes were called in Wednesday to clear a big rig crash that snarled traffic on Highway 113 in rural Solano County.

The wreck, which occurred at about 4 a.m. just north of Robinson Road, involved a truck carrying parts of a large windmill.

The 127,000-pound load fell off into a ditch.

The road was closed down and was reopened in the afternoon.

Somehow the truck ended up in a ditch alongside of the road, which carries traffic from Dixon to Highway 12.
