Firefighters Battle 2 Fires In El Dorado County
Soldier Fire 35 Percent Contained

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Cal Fire Camino is battling two fires in El Dorado County Sunday.The Soldier Fire, located off of Highway 50 in the Pollock Pines area, is currently 35 acres and 35 percent contained.A number of crews and aircraft are working the fire and do not expect it to be much of a problem, fire officials said.The Cats Fire located off North-South Road between Highway 50 and Highway 88 is currently 15 acres with no report on containment. They have a number of ground crews working the fire and expect to get a handle on it soon.
