RIO LINDA, Calif. -- A bloody body was found inside a car Monday at the Elkhorn Boulevard Park & Ride, officials said.

The deceased man, who was sitting inside a white Dodge Stratus at West Elkhorn Boulevard at Highway 99, had blood on his face, the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department said.

Sgt. Tim Curran said the man suffered some head trauma.

The man is in his late 20s to early 30s, officials said.

The death is being considered suspicious, Curran said.

The name of the man is unknown.
