Restaurant Robbers Had Guns, Police Say

FOLSOM, Calif. -- A LaBou restaurant was robbed Friday, and two robbers from an earlier crime may have pulled it off, police said.Folsom police are seeking two or three people who robbed the restaurant, which is located in the 13000 block of Folsom Boulevard.One person had a sawed-off shotgun the other had a handgun, police said.The employees were ordered to the ground at gunpoint, police said, and one employee was taken into the back room and forced to open the safe.The three people got into a white, Nissan-type sedan and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.The man is described as an African-American male in his 20s, about 5 feet 10 inches to 5 feet 11 inches with an average build. He was wearing a beige sweatshirt with a brown pattern and a short-brimmed hat.The woman is described as an African-American adult in her 20s, about 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches, with her hair pulled back into a bun. She was wearing a yellow shirt and sunglasses.The juvenile is described said to be an African-American male, between 12-17 years of age, about 4 feet 10 inches to 5 feet tall with a medium build, short hair, and a dark complexion. He was wearing a dark long-sleeved shirt.Lt. Michelle Beattie said authorities think they may be the same people who robbed a home Thursday in the 200 block of Sierra Oak Court.The California ISO building was locked down for an hour as police searched the area. Stephanie McCorkle from Cal-ISO said there was no impact to operations.Pictures of the two suspects were taken from a surveillance camera in a convenience store in Rancho Cordova.The investigation is ongoing.
