Police were searching Thursday for a man accused of shooting and injuring another man at a south Sacramento gas station.

Authorities said the incident started late Wednesday with an argument at the Tower Mart at 24th Street and Glen Ellen Circle. The station is next to Sacramento Executive Airport.

Officers said the victim was walking to a truck to pump gas when he was shot in the leg.

Investigators said the victim and another man were involved in a fight inside of the gas station market because one of them cut in line.

Police said the gunman ran off through a nearby apartment complex.

The victim was not seriously injured.
