SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- A small fire broke out Thursday in a band practice room at Inderkum High School, but no injuries were reported, Sacramento Fire Department reported.

Fire crews responded to a water-flow alarm at about 8:12 a.m. and arrived to find one sprinkler had been activated.

Officials found that a fire caused the sprinkler to go off.

All students were evacuated safely.

Firefighters stayed at the scene to help school officials remove water from the room.

The cause of the blaze was under investigation.
