One of television’s top-ranked series and the recipient of 55 Emmy Award nominations, FRIENDS is a smart, sophisticated comedy that looks into the hearts and minds of a group of friends living in New York City. The series stars JENNIFER ANISTON, COURTENEY COX ARQUETTE, LISA KUDROW, MATT LeBLANC, MATTHEW PERRY and DAVID SCHWIMMER.The series focuses on the friendship of these six friends, who frequently gather at one another’s apartment. Monica’s hapless brother Ross (DAVID SCHWIMMER) is a paleontology professor who has been divorced three times, including once from Rachel. Then there's Chandler(MATTHEW PERRY), a dry wit who is never at a loss of words. Chandler’s longtime roommate Joey (MATT LeBLANC) is a womanizing actor who proudly talks about his appearance on soap opera Days of Our Lives. Rounding out the circle of friends is Monica’s ex-roommate, Phoebe Buffay (LISA KUDROW), an offbeat, eternally optimistic folk singer and massage therapist. As Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Joey, Chandler and Ross realize, the search for happiness often seems to turn up more questions than answers. But while they look within for fulfillment, they also look out for one another during a time when anything seems possible…as long as they’ve got friends.FRIENDS is executive produced by Kevin S. Bright, Marta Kauffman, David Crane, Shana Goldberg-Meehan, Scott Silveri, Andrew Reich and Ted Cohen. The series was created by David Crane and Marta Kauffman.
