NEVADA COUNTY, Calif. -- Rugged terrain posed a challenge Friday for fire crews battling a blaze near Nevada City.Cal Fire said the 15-acre blaze was reported at 2:30 a.m. and burned south of the Yuba River in the area of Jackass Flats Road and Silverthorne Lane.The fire was about 70 percent contained.A handful of homes are located in the area, but none were immediately threatened.
