A two-alarm blaze caused heavy damage to a computer lab at Leonardo da Vinci Middle School in Sacramento, officials said.

Fire crews responded to the fire late Saturday night and officials said firefighters were able to put the fire out quickly.

Sacramento City Unified School District police surveyed the damage Sunday morning.

"There is well over 50 computers in here (lab)," said Vince Matranga of the Sacramento School District. "It is very disappointing to see a room like this damaged by fire."

Damages to the computer lab are expected to total more than $100,000, officials said.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
